AC Shadows Unveils Surprising Attack on Titan Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a surprising collaboration that breaks conventional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Disclosed
According to the authorized statement, "An unusual encounter pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where rumors of banned practices and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The plot presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden group.
The questline centers on "strange trials and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Changes
The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser concludes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Bonus Material
Players who finish the mission will obtain an exclusive katana in addition to multiple objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

- Mikasa attire for Naoe

Latest Free Story Update
This patch also adds the game's third complimentary story content, titled "The Mystery." This lighthearted adventure partners Naoe and Yasuke as they trade characteristic abilities: Naoe debuts a performative variation of Yasuke's war kick, while Yasuke learns non-lethal stealth takedowns.
